A Few Notes About The Free Consultation:

• Please reach out to me using the contact form above to schedule a time for us to meet via Zoom or over the phone. This introductory mural call is completely free - no strings attached.
• Some common points of discussion include: how you should plan for a mural project, how to raise money, when to begin budgeting, how to communicate value to your parish, and more.
• Specific to your parish, we might discuss: the project timeline, an estimated project cost, iconography ideas and inspiration, and more.
• Remember, this initial phone consultation is absolutely free - there is no obligation from either party. If you wish to continue with my services, the next step involves me flying out to see your Parish in person. The next section discusses this comprehensive consultation.

Continuing with a Comprehensive Consultation:

• Upon confirming your intent to move forward, we will schedule a visit to your parish. Please note: the in-person, comprehensive consultation is a paid expense. The Parish will be responsible for all travel expenses and accommodation during this initial visit, as well as modest honorarium.
• During the comprehensive consultation, I will visit for a weekend to pray with you at Vespers and observe your parish and the space. After the service, we will meet with the building committee and a priest to understand your requests and to share ideas about your future project.
• The next morning, after the Liturgy, we will have another meeting (with the parish as whole) for a short presentation about iconography and Q/A session. At that point, I will share with you my general ideas about the iconographic program for your parish.
• If the Parish wishes to proceed, I will draft up a contract including all the details of your project including pricing and schedule. After the contract is executed, I will begin preparing detailed sketches for your review. Once these are approved, I will plan to fly to your parish with my associates to begin painting murals in your space.

A Few Notes About This Process:

• The minimum cost of commissioning a Panel Icon is $900. This price increases with the size and complexity of the project. Each of these works are hand made and designed, so there is a non-refundable 15% deposit due at the time of commission. The deposit will cover real gold, mineral pigments, and semiprecious stones that are used in this process, plus my time. Shipping and handle will be due at the time of shipping, and are the responsibility of the person commissioning the work.

• Panel Icon commissions will be handled by my studio, and directed and supervised by me. If you prefer I personally paint your paint your icon, please let me know and we can negotiate a fair price. All panel icons take a minimum of four weeks to complete and ship.  

• If you are working with a tight budget, then we can negotiate a payment plan instead of paying in full at the time of completion.
